SC21 Bronze Award For Artemis Optical Limited!

Artemis Optical are delighted to have been awarded a Supply Chains in the Twenty First Century Bronze Award. The award is due to be presented at a ceremony held by the ASD Group at The Farnborough International Airshow on Thursday 12th July 2012. Ian Moyes (Managing Director) and Steph Hardisty (Quality Assurance Manager) will be attending to accept the award.
SC21 is a change programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace & defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. The UK is number one in Europe and second only to the US globally, in the aerospace and defence industry.
To achieve an SC21 award a company must demonstrate world class business performance in all aspects including delivery and services to customers, in internal business efficiency and furthermore a continuous sustainable improvement culture throughout the organisation. Artemis Optical Limited achieved a bronze award having demonstrated >90% on time delivery, 98% customer acceptance and dedication to a sustainable improvement programme, across a 12 month performance period.
Steph Hardisty, Quality Assurance Manager for Artemis Optical Limited has led this ongoing improvement programme, together with the support of all the employees.
