Artemis Optical Records Strong Q1 Bookings Total
Following on from the recent news regarding a multi-year contract for Laser Protection Filters, Artemis Optical is pleased to announce that it ended the three month period up to June 28th 2019 with bookings on new orders totalling GBP 1.29 million.
Jamie Pindard, Sales Director of Artemis Optical commented that “The Laser Protection Filter order capped off a positive period of new business for Artemis. I’m very thankful to the whole team who have been working extremely hard for several years on establishing our position with new customers and on new programs, and I’m glad to say that this is now starting to come to fruition”
The orders which were booked saw Artemis continue to establish itself as the supplier for optics used in the survivability systems of airborne and land based defence platforms whilst growing its commercial footprint. Non-defence orders accounted for 22% of the orders booked.
The company is hopeful that several large commercial orders will be placed or progressed in the coming quarter.
