Artemis Optical Extends US Presence With Meopta Partnership

Partnership combines Meopta's extensive manufacturing experience with Artemis' design expertise.

Plymouth, Devon, UK, 12 April, 2016 - Artemis Optical Limited, the designer and manufacturer of high-precision optical filters including laser protection filters used by the American military and others, has established a US presence and entered into a partnership with Meopta U.S.A., Inc. the precision optics company known for its optomechanical and optoelectronic technology solutions, high-end sports optics and military tank periscopes.

The two companies identified the opportunity to enhance their established business relationship by applying their complementary expertise to provide complete solutions to their customers. The partnership enables both businesses to offer an expanded range of optical filters and turnkey solutions not currently available in the US market. Artemis will occupy a section of Meopta’s facility at Hauppauge, New York where it will work closely with Meopta to develop these markets.
