Job Vacancy: Maintenance Engineer, Location: Plymouth, UK, Salary: Competitive, Contract Type: Permanent

Having recently secured several multi-year contracts and following on from two consecutive years of 40% growth, Artemis is looking to secure the right person to expand our current Maintenance Team. 

The successful candidate will have essential mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines. 

They should also be self-motivated, and have good awareness of current safety regulations, and good working practices. This will facilitate the ability to progress towards unsupervised working. 

The candidate should have a background in maintenance activity, with a keen approach to expanding their capabilities in a specialised manufacturing environment. The position includes maintenance of the physical assets, including building, plant services and production equipment and supporting the H&S Coordinator by participating as a team member to assist with the management of the company health and safety systems. 

Candidates should hold certification to, Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Engineering, BTEC ONC Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 

Following an initial probation period, the candidate will follow a rotating shift pattern 

Salary: Dependant on experience + 25 days holiday + pension scheme + Wellness plan.
