COVID-19 Second UK Lockdown
Dear Customers,
Following on from the announcement on Saturday that England is due to enter a second period of national lockdown, I wanted to offer some reassurance as to Artemis’ position and what that means for you.
In line with the regulations that come into force on Thursday, only those staff members who are physically required to be on site to carry out their role will be so. As such, most of our office-based staff will be working from home for the 4-week period, though will be on site occasionally to carry out specific tasks.
As before, this may mean that you experience a small delay in receiving the information that you require from us, though we will do everything to minimise this where possible.
As far as production is concerned, we will continue to operate a 24 hour, 3-shift system, fully supported by the appropriate technical, engineering and quality team members. We are already working closely with our supply chain across the board to mitigate any challenges which may occur and do not currently expect this to cause any significant schedule delays.
As during the last lockdown, we are in the fortunate position of not having to furlough or reduce the hours of any staff member. We are in fact looking to recruit for several positions to support our ongoing growth and will shortly be adding to our Quality Engineering vacancy with openings for a Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer and Quality Inspector. If you have experience in any of these areas and your employment has been effected by the ongoing situation, please make contact here.
As always, our Sales Team remains available to answer any questions or queries which you may have.
Yours sincerely,
Jamie Pindard
Sales Director
